| Get a One World view of all the conventions. Then pick one and you can swoop down to very street and block on which the conference or hotel is located. Driving by car? You can get detailed instructions from your location (whever you may be), complete with mileage and approximate time (if you're going by car that is) of trip. Need an alternate hotel because the primary one is booked up? You can find it directly from this interface and visually see how far away you will be. Needing things to do during your business trip? From here you can look up restaurants and other events and venues to go to during your convention stay and get back not just a list, but a map, and distance from your hotel. Even use it in the airport after you arrive to make sure your taxi takes the straight route to your hotel. |

The Atlanta Forum Sep 18 – Sep 20, 2008 Atlanta, GA U.S. Held at W Atlanta - Perimeter As the "sister show" of The Phoenix Forum, the brand new The Atlanta Forum will expand on the powerful brand by adding an East Coast, Fall edition of the show. Where as CCBill is the main producer of the Phoenix show, NationalNet hosting has taken on the main production of this new Atlanta convention. Among the highlights are seminars, parties, a golf tourney, free lunches and a pool party too. Projected Weather During Convention Webmaster Access Europe Sep 25 – Sep 27, 2008 Amsterdam, Netherlands Held at Radisson SAS Hotel Webmaster Access returns once again to Amsterdam, home of Van Gough, Heineken and the Red Light District. The show has the expected parties and seminars, with a focus on it's own creation the Networking Power Hours which are niched into such areas as traffic, scripts, hosting, and the rest so webmasters can "meet with individuals who are providing exactly what you are looking for." Projected Weather During Convention Oktoberfest Gathering Sep 28 – Sep 30, 2008 Munich, Germany Held at Fleming's Hotel Munich-City Purposely and perfectly positioned, the Oktoberfest in Berlin begins the day after Webmaster Access ends in Amsterdam providing the opportunity for adult webmasters to merge the two events into a single trip. Needless to say this webmaster gathering has it's eye on the more "let your hair down" aspects of networking in a fun atmosphere as opposed to a stuffy business-like atmosphere. Projected Weather During Convention Ocean Social Oct 13 – Oct 17, 2008 Port Canaveral, FL U.S. Held at Royal Caribbean Sovereign of the Seas The Ocean Social will take place on Royal Caribbean's Sovereign of the Seas cruise ship. The four-day cruise will leave from Port Canaveral, Florida within striking distance of both Orlando and the Kennedy Space Center, and will head to The Bahamas and back. It will stop in CoCo Cay and then Nassau. Definitely one of the more novel webmaster gatherings of this or any year. Projected Weather During Convention Island Gathering Oct 17 – Oct 20, 2008 Curacao, Curacao Held at In it's eighth year, the Island Gathering is considered to be the most "elite" of the various webmaster conventions, high-priced and a limited attendence of "industry decision makers", many who bring their spouses. That said, it's open to anyone who wants to attend. Called "the perfect mix of business and pleasure" the annual gathering in Curaco is known for its quiet networking mixed with snorkling, sailing, dolphin swims and golf at a five-star beach resort. Projected Weather During Convention EuroWebtainment - Vienna Nov 5 – Nov 8, 2008 Vienna, Austria Held at Hotel Marriott The Eurowebtainment event is the primary trade meeting in Europe, meeting the high demands of a professional B2B trade meeting with seminars and workshops and above all providing a professional forum for international networking. For the third time the MobileWebtainment segment will be a part of this. And for the first time Eurogametainment, for the online gambling field, will also join making this the focal point for interactive media. Projected Weather During Convention Internext Winter 2009 Jan 12 – Jan 14, 2009 Las Vegas, NV U.S. Held at The Palms Considered the grand daddy of all the conventions, the Winter Ritual of the Internext in Las Vegas pulls in the creme de la creme and the newest of newbies together. This is the one event, no doubt due in large part to Vegas itself, that folks will fly in from Europe, Asia and Australia to see and be seen at this convention. In shot it's the "if you can manage but one convention a year, you go to this one." This is the first year the show is taking an off-strip venue at being held at the fabulous The Palms.
