Regarding news items and press releases: news is subjective. In "real life" a major fire will make the top of the news program, whereas cub scout troop 101's bake sale won't make it at all. Same applies here. Meaning, there is editorial judgement when it comes to the News section and what we will use.
If there is a new sponsor program, or you've added a new pay site to your lineup, we will no doubt list them all. Ditto new content CD or sets released.
If you're a free host, well, there's 12 of them starting every day. Different if someone like Grimm or Mike AI starts a new free host, and if someone named "Squishy" does. The first will be mentioned, the second won't. (Again, too many of them). Unless of course there is something very uniquely different about that free host, or its a very slow news week. Ditto TGPs, link lists and the like. Must be a dozen new ones daily, and we won't list them all. Very different if a DK takes over Smut Links or a DMan opens a new TGP.
Two last items, and please remember we have experience having done the Condom Chronicles Adult News This Week column for a year-and-a-half so we know what to expect. One, make sure your news is news, aka, recent and new! We will not list a "new program" that has actually been out for four months. We will not list a content broker's list of "new CDs", when every other content broker has had them on their sites for a month already, or you've had them on your sites for months and are calling them "new" again. It's news -- make sure it is current or it will not be listed! We're not here to be tricked and we will catch you if you try. And we won't list you at all if you try. :-)
Once again, sorry for the long paragraphs here. Hope most of you understand that all this above was written for that "certain 1%" of the folks out there.
